Shadow Hills defines excellent customer service!!! I was so pleased with our stay here and we’d love to come back!! The ladies I worked with at the front desk are so personal and friendly and really made our stay perfect!! The grounds are beautiful and I have no idea how they keep their grass so beautiful! We used the dog park several times and the pool area is so nice. Great weekend stay!!! Thank You!

Our family stayed at Shadow Hills for 2nts . Very nice park with nice people . Cookies and ice cream at the pool were a big hit w/ kids. Pool
was a little cool for my preference. Large game room with indoor shuffleboard.

We arrived after hours on Friday night and found our check-in packet waiting for us on the bulletin board as promised.
The grounds are clean and well maintained. The restrooms are clean and I was pleasantly surprised by the personal hygiene products provided by the resort in the bathroom, although I didn’t need any since we carry our own.
It was generally very quiet and I only saw one or two other guests during our stay. I did bump into one of the maintenance staff, Hannah (sp?), who was super friendly and helpful and made me feel right at home.
Very little or no traffic noise. There is a railroad mainline about 1/4 mile away and every 15-20 minutes the train goes by, but because they go under the roads they don’t blow their horns so you only hear a quiet rumble and they didn’t disturb my sleep at all, and I’m a rather light sleeper. I was more disturbed by the weather.
The one thing that impressed me the most is that nearly every RV space is separated from the next by shrubs, giving each space a little privacy from the neighbors. I wish more RV parks would consider doing that, but most parks are too interested in cramming in as many RV’s as they can and they don’t want to sacrifice the space for shrubs.
A previous review complained about the sprinklers, but we didn’t have that problem. And on the night of our arrival it was 95 degrees and 35% humidity. If the sprinklers came on when I was there I would have stood in them to cool off.
I wish my other RV stops were this good. It makes me want to pick up Shadow Hills and take them with me when I travel. I’m hoping for other trips to take me through Indio so I can look forward to such a pleasant overnight visit.
