Resort Guidelines
Welcome To Shadow Hills RV Resort. The following guidelines are
designed to ensure guests a safe and enjoyable stay.
Automobiles:
Guests may park up to two vehicles inside their registered site, if
space permits, additional parking may be available; please inquire at the front
desk. A nominal fee may apply. Compliance with City Fire Code requires all
streets to remain clear. The painted site number designates the boundary of
each site. Automobile maintenance may be performed only with prior written
permission from Shadow Hills RV Resort.
Check In/Out Time:
Check in time 12:00 Noon. Check out is 11:00 am. It
would be our pleasure to accommodate your early arrival or late departure
requests if availability permits. A nominal fee may apply
Fires:
Propane and charcoal grills are permitted. For safety reasons, open
and/or wood fires are not allowed other than resort sponsored events at the fire
pit. Please do not place BBQ grills on top of the picnic tables as they will melt
the tables.
Fitness Center:
Use of the fitness center and it's equipment is at the risk of
the user. Guests under 18 years old are not permitted inside the fitness center
without written permission from Shadow Hills RV Resort. Do not use the
equipment unless you are deemed fit to do so by a doctor and are not
experiencing any pain.
Guest Responsibility:
Guests are responsible for the conduct, behavior, costs
and damages of or by themselves, their visitors, and their children at all times.
Please be sure all children at your site know and understand the resort rules as
we consider them our guests also with all the responsibilities and privileges
enjoyed by our guests. Registered guests are welcome to host a reasonable
number of day time visitors. Overnight visitors must be registered guests at your
site. Please inform the front desk of all visitors prior to their arrival. A nominal
resort fee may apply.
Management:
Shadow Hills RV Resort, its owners, management, staff and
affiliated businesses and associates will not be responsible for any loss due to
fire, water, weather, collision, accident, or theft, nor any loss, damages, injury, or
death to any guest or visitor or the property of either. Presence on the property
constitutes agreement with these rules.
Outside Vendors:
The front desk will be happy to assist you in arranging
services such as RV/car washing, vehicle maintenance, windshield repair, etc. All
outside vendors must be approved prior to commencing work inside the resort.
Pets:
We welcome your well behaved pets. Pets should be on a 6ft. or shorter
leash when being walked around the resort. We have a maximum of two pets per
site. Barking, growling, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated and may
result in you being asked to leave the Resort. Pets are not allowed in the
buildings or the pool area. Please clean up and properly dispose of all pet
waste. We offer a great dog park where clean up stations are available. Pets
cannot be left unattended outside of your RV or at the Dog Park. You are
responsible for complying with all applicable requirements for vaccinations and
leash laws.
Pool/Spa:
There is no lifeguard on duty. Use of the pool and spa are at the risk
of the user. Guests under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult inside
the pool gates. Guests under the age of 14 are not permitted in the spa. Proper
swim attire must be worn. Young guests who are not potty trained must wear a
swim diaper while in the pool. Please do not bring any glass to the pool area. If
you have bottles or glassware, the front desk is happy to supply you with plastic
cups to use in the pool area. Pool rules are posted and must be adhered to. The
pool and spa are generally open from 9 am until dusk however are subject to
change as conditions dictate.
Quiet Hours:
Courtesy and respect for others is essential to everyone's
enjoyment of the resort. Please keep excessive noise to a minimum at all times
and maintain peace and quiet between the hours of 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. If
you are arriving or departing during those hours, please exercise caution in
making unnecessary noise.
RV/Car Washing:
Vehicle may be washed at the resort with prior approval
only. Please contact the front desk for information. A nominal fee may apply.
RV Requirements: RV’s must be maintained in a "Pride of Ownership"
condition. While we appreciate "classic RV’s", coaches older than 10 years must
be approved prior to check in. Please only use products in your holding tanks
that guarantee environmental safety. Use of non-biodegradable chemicals in
holding tanks is strictly prohibited by California state law. We encourage our
guests not to purchase or use products from companies that manufacture these
products. For information or supplies to help with the safe management of
holding tanks, please inquire at the front desk. Guests with holding tanks
containing non-biodegradable chemicals are prohibited from hooking up their
sewer connection at the resort. Sewer hoses must be connected with a secure
and sealed connection. Generators may not be operated inside the resort.
Please do not run any engines unnecessarily. Proper insurance coverage must
be current on all vehicles.
Sites:
While we encourage the personalization of your outdoor living space,
please keep your site clean and free of clutter at all times. Outdoor/patio
furniture is allowed, however items such as appliances, utility trailers, indoor
furniture, laundry, etc. are not permitted outside your RV. All fencing must be
pre-approved.
Smoking:
Smoking is permitted at guest sites and designated common areas
only. Please dispose of all litter appropriately due to the dry conditions. Illegal
drugs or substances are not permitted in the resort.
Speed Limit:
The safety of our guests is very important to us. Please observe
the 5 MPH speed limit inside the resort at all times.
Trash:
Please keep your site clean and neat. We provide trash pick up at your
site each morning as a service to our guests. Please secure your trash inside a
closed bag and place it at the front of your site by 9:00 am. Please do not place trash outside at night.
